Two engineering students, tired of walking across campus to buy a pack of biscuits, decided convenience shouldn’t be that inconvenient. Today our smart vending machines run at institutions including IISc, IIIT Bangalore, Manipal University, Christ University, IIM Lucknow, Jain University, PES University and many more. ## Why campuses need vending machines - **Canteen queues.** Between classes, everyone wants something at the same time. - **Late nights.** Students study, code and prepare for exams long after the canteen closes. - **Distance.** On large campuses, the nearest shop can be a long walk from a hostel block or department. - **Cash.** Students pay with UPI; cash-only counters slow everyone down. ## The results we see on campus Across our partner institutions, JustVend has seen: - **40% reduction in canteen queue times.** Students spend less time waiting and more time learning. - **98% user satisfaction** across partner institutions. - **60% growth in repeat purchases** through a personalised experience. > “Our students love the convenience JustVend brings. No more long queues or cash hassles, everything works smoothly through their app. Even during late hours, the machines are stocked, clean, and functioning perfectly.” > > Mr. Linen, Facilities Manager, Christ University ## Where to place machines on campus - **Hostel blocks:** the highest-value spot for late-night demand. - **Libraries and study halls:** essentials without losing your seat. - **Academic blocks and labs:** quick snacks between classes. - **Sports complexes:** water and energy drinks after a game. - **Near the main gate or admin block:** visitors and staff. ## What students buy Snacks, drinks, instant food and everyday essentials, with clear peaks before exams and late at night. Because demand on a campus changes with the academic calendar, a smart machine that forecasts by season and time of day stays useful through the semester. JustVend’s AI predicts what sells where and when, so the 50 slots in each machine carry what students actually want. ## What it takes from the institution Very little day-to-day. The operator handles stocking, refills, monitoring and maintenance; the institution provides the locations. Every JustVend machine is monitored 24/7 from a central dashboard, and facilities teams get full transparency. > “We’ve been working with JustVend for over three years now, and their reliability stands out. Their technology-driven approach ensures zero downtime and full transparency through their dashboard.” > > Mr. Veeranna Kammar, Joint Registrar, IISc ## Bring JustVend to your campus JustVend serves campuses pan-India, with warehouses live in Bengaluru (Bangalore), Pune, Noida, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Ahmedabad, Visakhapatnam (Vizag), Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Chennai.
